The Red Umbrella Sexual Health and Human Rights Association works with male, female and transgender sex workers to advocate for universal access to health services, economic empowerment and social inclusion of sex workers, and challenge the stigma, discrimination and human rights abuses against sex workers. Through Referral to Testing and Treatment with Social Work Support, Red Umbrella Sexual Health and Human Rights Association aims to encourage sex workers to get tested, learn about their HIV status and strengthen their access to health and social services. The organization strives to increase the number of sex workers who are informed about HIV and their status.

HIV-Friendly Health Institutions Network to Prevent Stigma and Discrimination

Kırmızı Kurdele İstanbul Derneği (Red Ribbon Istanbul Association) is a non-governmental HIV information provider that aims to produce and disseminate HIV information in a language that is easily understandable and applicable to all segments of society, in order to fulfill the right to access information and the right to access treatment. The HIV-Friendly Health Institutions Network to Prevent Stigma and Discrimination project works to build a trusted network of health institutions from a variety of categories in which people living with HIV will not have to face discrimination or stigma while receiving health services.
