Project Education and Rehabilitation
SnehaCares believes education and rehabilitation programs are key to ending the HIV epidemic in India. The organization's objective is to prepare and equip the children and young adults living at the Snehasadan home for children without housing to live responsible and independent lives in their communities. Children living with HIV will be adults in their communities in less than a decade. Awareness, education and tools to overcome HIV stigma will help them live full, rich lives. With education and a support system, many of these children can become advocates for ending HIV in their local communities.
