Fondazione Villa Maraini

Integrated Model of HIV/HCV and COVID-19 Testing and Linkage to Care for “Hard-to-Reach” Groups

Fondazione Villa Maraini is committed to HIV prevention and dissemination of information on HIV infection and Viral Hepatitis, while trying to reach and support HIV-positive people not included in a healthcare network and living a condition of social marginality (Hard to Reach). This program focuses on scaling up the model of combined testing in non-clinical settings for vulnerable populations – integrating HIV, HCV and COVID-19 screening.

This program offers informative services on HIV and STIs for operators working with migrants in reception facilities, and addresses prevention and screening for female survivors of trafficking and young adults between the ages of 18 and 25.
