MTV Staying Alive Foundation (MTV-SAF) will use MTV Shuga media to deliver HIV programming for young men who have sex with men in South Africa. MTV Shuga is a ground-breaking behavior change campaign, built around a TV drama series, which covers broad issues, including HIV prevention and LGBTQIA+ stigma. Building on this content, we will undertake screenings and peer education, in-person and online, to enhance awareness and attitudes towards HIV prevention and testing.
