Clínica de Familia La Romana, the largest HIV provider in the eastern Dominican Republic, has implemented its Comprehensive HIV Innovations in La Romana program. This initiative aims to improve overall health of clients with HIV in the city of La Romana and contribute to the elimination of HIV nationwide through a new innovative strategy of integrative multidisciplinary case management teams incorporating social work, navigation, education, counseling and health promotion to respond to the needs of people living with HIV.
