Deutsche Aidshilfe

Community-Led and Based HIV Services – Key to Ending the HIV Epidemic in Europe and Central Asia

Deutsche Aidshilfe is a group promoting structural prevention of HIV/AIDS and other STIs for groups particularly at risk for and affected by these cases. Ending the HIV epidemic in Europe and Central Asia depends on reaching those currently not served and left behind in the response to HIV. Community-led and community-based initiatives, including diverse testing and diagnosis options, are best positioned to reach these communities, and therefore are essential for meeting the global HIV targets.
