Abounding Prosperity, Inc. (AP, Inc.) was founded in November 2005 with the express purpose of responding to social and health disparities affecting Black men and their families in Dallas County. This program seeks to reach people at high risk of acquiring HIV or individuals who are living with HIV in Dallas County. The program primarily strives to engage with African American individuals, including young men who have sex with men, the aging population and transgender people. The program works to prevent new infections and ensure that people living with HIV are connected to care, while working to improve technology infrastructure and digital outreach strategies.

Southern Black Policy and Advocacy Network

Zeroing In to End HIV for Black and Latinx Communities in Texas

The Southern Black Policy and Advocacy Network, Inc. (SBPAN) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was created in 2018 to improve health, social and economic conditions facing Black communities living in the U.S. South. This program is designed to adapt and expand existing programming throughout the five Texas Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) counties. The program focuses on an innovative education and anti-stigma media campaign that centers on those at highest risk for being impacted by HIV in the state’s Black and Latino communities. The goal of the program is to increase HIV diagnosis, linkage to and retention in care and overall health outcomes for Black and Latino communities in Texas EHE jurisdictions.

FUSE Mpowerment Project HIV Prevention Program

Resource Center is a trusted leader that empowers the LGBTQIA+ communities and all people affected by HIV through improving health and wellness, strengthening families and communities and providing transformative education and advocacy. The FUSE Mpowerment Project HIV Prevention Program is a structural intervention, evidence-based and community-led HIV prevention and outreach program that serves Dallas-Fort Worth communities disproportionately impacted by HIV. FUSE serves young cisgender and transgender men who have sex with men of all races and ethnicities, ages 18 to 35. FUSE is designed to increase the use of safer sex practices among young men who have sex with men of diverse backgrounds by mobilizing them to support one another.
